Excursions information

FRIENDS OF LEAMINGTON SPA ART GALLERY and MUSEUM

INFORMATION FOR EXCURSIONS

All excursions leave from Newbold Comyn, by the Leisure Centre, with a pick up opposite
the Spa Centre in Newbold Terrace, 5-10 minutes later.

Every effort will be made to point out potential risks such as uneven steps, steep stairs,
garden slopes, etc.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Include, for insurance purposes, the names of everyone for whom the booking is being made
and also contact details in case of emergency.

By BACS – Let the organiser have your booking either using the form or putting the details
in an email. BACS payments reduce our banking costs, payment one week before the event
please.

By cheque – Booking form and cheque to excursion organiser with cheque dated for day of
excursion and made payable to Friends of Leamington Art Gallery. Cheques will be banked
after the event.

Confirmation of Booking – The organiser will confirm your booking by email or phone. If
the excursion is full when your booking is received the organiser will let you know by email
or phone and put you on the waiting list.

CANCELLATION
It is extremely unlikely that an excursion will have to be cancelled but if this does occur,
either by the venue or FLAG organisers, every effort will be made to contact the people
booked as soon as possible.

Cheques will be destroyed and BACS payments returned.

If you have to cancel please let the organiser know as soon as possible so that the place can
be offered to someone on the waiting list. If no replacement can be found we will try to
give a refund but may have to retain all or a substantial part of the cost of the excursion in
order to pay for any irrecoverable charges which FLAG has incurred such as coach hire,
entry fees paid in advance, payments to guides and refreshments.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before departure will not normally be refunded. Refunds cannot be given for non-appearance or cancellation on the day.

National Trust/English Heritage/HHA members – it is essential to bring your membership
cards if we visit these properties. Without them you will be charged entrance fees.
