OUR AIMS

The Friends of Leamington Art Gallery (FLAG) was founded in 1967 at the instigation of Leamington Borough Council's Librarian and Curator, with about 40 members. Since then the the membership has grown steadily and the society has helped the Art Gallery in many different ways, some of which are detailed on this website.

Our aim is to promote and support our local Art Gallery at the Royal Pump Rooms.  We hold regular meetings in the Royal Pump Rooms and summer outings, short holidays, winter talks and study days.

We are always looking for new members to continue and maintain our support for the Gallery. For details of how to join us, please click on the "Membership" link above.

LSA is a pro-active organisation seeking to promote the Visual Arts in Leamington Spa and the surrounding area. Our membership consists of both artists and supporters of the Visual Arts. Although located in Leamington Spa in the new Cultural Quarter, LSA invites artists throughout the Midlands and further afield to join the Association. We have members throughout Warwickshire, Coventry and Birmingham apart from other parts of the country and even abroad. In greater numbers lies greater strength to achieve our objectives, diversify our practices, and create a cohesive artistic community. We are the soil out of which the flower grows. LSA seeks to support any Visual Art of quality and merit.

LSA represents the Visual Arts in Leamington's Cultural Quarter, promoting exhibitions and events for the public. LSA has been publishing Artspace since 1998, and its readership covers the UK and Europe.
